Guidelines for storage and temporary storage for drip trays with regard to fire safety, occupational safety and environmental safety in accordance with PGS 15 (hazardous substances publication series):
A storage facility must be constructed so that leaked or spilt hazardous liquid is collected in a sump tray. To this end, the sump should have a capacity of at least 110 % of the largest container. However, if 10 % of the total contents of the packages exceeds 110 % of the contents of the largest package, the containment capacity shall be equal to 10 % of the total combined contents of the packages. The sump tray must be sufficiently resistant to the liquids stored.
The collection capacity applies only to liquids. Empty, uncleaned packaging does not count for this purpose. The containment facility may also be located in the storage area. The choice of the location of the containment facility may depend on the hazardous liquids stored. Kruizinga.nl is not liable for the type of use!
